What we did...

  • We assisted the designers, Graven, in 2018 with furniture and lighting consultancy and the creation of a large FF&E / Lighting package for a new-build IHG Group boutique hotel in a converted textile mill
  • The original budget was severely reduced due to rising costs elsewhere on the project. We were tasked with a last minute value engineering exercise, transforming the furniture schedule into something palatable for the end client in terms of cost. We were able to recommend products that retained the integrity of the design vision and prevented furniture that would not meet with the interior design vision being procured via the main contractor.
  • We supplied furniture and lighting to all areas of the hotel including 102 bedrooms, private meeting rooms, main restaurant, foyer and reception.

With a common design vision, our services integrated
seamlessly with the interior designers. Alongside our
access to furniture brands, we have a strong reputation for
supplying lighting and sourced pieces that complemented
other products on the schedule. The process was an
enjoyable one for all involved; streamlined, and
straightforward.

We responsibly managed the development of customised
products, placed and negotiated orders with the main
contractors, managed finances, provided warehousing and
installed the furniture package on specific nominated
dates. A rigorous & systematic closeout documentation
process, and Day 2 Service was also provided. Full
handover documentation and certification were supplied.

Since completion, the project has won numerous awards
and accolades as a design hotel including Sunday Times
Best Hotel in Scotland, National Brand Hotel of the Year
and National City Hotel of the Year via Scotttish Hotel
Awards 2020.
