The All-Purpose chair is the ultimate testament to the enduring appeal of timeless, multi-functional design. An original 1950’s design from company founder, Lucian Ercolani, the All-Purpose chair has become an overnight contemporary classic for both the home and workplace.
True to its name, the All-Purpose chair’s noble, unadorned appearance allows it to seamlessly blend into a wide array of environments and interiors — subtly enhancing its surroundings with a resounding sense of harmony, comfort and alignment. Favoured for both its versatility and practicality, the All-Purpose chair features an ergonomic seat design, gently sculpted to complement the body’s contours and ensure users’ continued comfort.
Manufactured in solid ash, the All-Purpose chair is offered in nine bespoke finishes, including a natural finish and the new Modern Tones series by Christian Møller Andersen.
Lead times can vary, but we advise 2-3 weeks for lighting, 6-8 weeks for small furniture items and 8-10 weeks for larger or upholstered furniture.

UK Delivery
Orders over £1,500 are delivered free of charge (excluding ex-display and clearance). Delivery charges for orders under £1,500 are calculated at checkout.
EU & International Delivery
We ship Worldwide, but currently only offer UK delivery online. For European Union or International deliveries, please contact us
Collect In-Store
If you prefer to collect from our store on London Street, Edinburgh then please select this option at checkout. We will notify you when your order is ready and arrange a convenient time to collect.
All goods returned must be in an unused, perfect and saleable condition with the original product packaging and instructions if included.
If the goods do not reach us in this condition, then your right to a full refund may be affected.
Made-to-order items and orders in a specific finish, colour or fabric, as per the customer’s specifications cannot be returned.
