Vipp is celebrating the opening of its new Manhattan-based premises, ‘Vipp Studio NYC’, with a limited edition collection consisting of a remake of Vipp’s iconic bin from 1939 in dark green inspired by the Studio’s interior, and a Swivel chair upholstered in the same green.
‘Vipp Studio Green’ is a shade of dark green initially applied to selected Vipp products as part of the interior in the new Vipp space that doubles as a showroom and private home for 3rd generation Vipp owner, Sofie Christensen Egelund and her family.
With functional handles on each side, the 14 litre, Vipp15 pedal bin is easy to move around. The pedal bin was not designed in the strict traditional sense, but was developed in response to a series of functional criteria; the most important one being a pedal for a hands-free operation.
