In celebration of our 10 year anniversary, we had a fabulous evening to launch our Autumn/Winter exhibition preview in partnership with Carl Hansen & Son. Their master-weaver, Benny Larsen, demonstrated the mesmerising techniques used to create the famous CH24 Wishbone chair, which one lucky winner walked away with on the night! We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that attended and we hope you enjoyed your night.
The exhibition will run for a couple of weeks in our London Street showroom, Edinburgh, where you can view the first five chairs Hans J. Wegner created exclusively for Carl Hansen in 1950 – CH22, CH23, CH24 Wishbone Chair, CH25 and CH26.
With a number of Carl Hansen pieces in-store, including the CH20 Elbow Chair, Signature Chair, Colonial Chair, as well as Poul Kjærholm’s PK1 Chair, unveiled in Milan earlier this year, it’s a great opportunity to explore some of the finest craftsmanship from Scandinavia.
